EchoScan Refund Policy

Last updated: August 23, 2026

This policy applies to paid EchoScan subscriptions purchased through an EchoScan checkout provided by Paddle. It explains cancellation, circumstances considered for refunds, and how to request review. It forms part of the EchoScan Terms of Service.

Canceling a subscription

You can open Billing in EchoScan Console and use Manage Subscription to cancel an active subscription. The management flow shows when cancellation takes effect and whether Pro access continues through the current paid period.

Cancel before the next renewal if you do not want another charge. Canceling stops future renewals according to the date shown in the subscription portal; it does not automatically refund a completed billing period.

Refunds are reviewed case by case

EchoScan does not promise a universal no-questions-asked refund window. A refund or credit may be appropriate when:

  • the same subscription period was charged more than once;
  • the charged amount materially differs from the checkout or order confirmation because of a billing error;
  • an EchoScan service failure materially prevented use of the paid service and could not be reasonably restored; or
  • applicable law requires a refund, cancellation right, or other remedy.

A change of mind, unused quota, integration incompatibility that was reasonably discoverable with Lite or documentation, or forgetting to cancel before renewal does not automatically qualify for a refund. EchoScan reviews the facts, service records, prior support steps, and mandatory legal requirements.

Requesting review

Email contact@echoscan.org without undue delay after discovering the issue. Include:

  • the email address used for the EchoScan account;
  • the Paddle order, invoice, or transaction reference;
  • the charge date and amount; and
  • a concise explanation of the issue and any relevant support correspondence.

Do not send a full card number, card security code, password, Secret API Key, or other secret. EchoScan or Paddle may request additional information needed to verify account authority and the payment.

How approved refunds are processed

Approved refunds are issued through Paddle to the original payment method when available. Currency conversion, bank processing, and payment-network timing can affect when funds appear. Any partial refund or service credit will be explained before it is finalized.

Mandatory consumer rights

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits a refund, withdrawal, cancellation, or other consumer right that cannot legally be excluded. Where mandatory law provides stronger rights, those rights apply.

Questions before purchase can be sent to contact@echoscan.org.
